About us
FRENCH WINE IMPORTS & WHOLESALE Corp. is a New York–based company born from a simple idea: bringing the diversity, authenticity and value of French wines to the U.S. market through a direct and transparent approach.
Our portfolio is built around some of the most renowned wine regions of France, including Champagne, Bordeaux, Burgundy, the Rhône Valley, the Loire Valley, Alsace, Languedoc and beyond. Each region is represented with a clear focus on quality, consistency and market relevance.
To complement our wine selection, we also offer a curated range of premium spirits such as whisky, gin, vodka and cognac. In line with current market trends, we have expanded this selection with French organic tonics, designed to elevate long drinks and add value to cocktail programs.
Our strength lies in our dual presence. In France, our team of sommeliers works directly in the vineyards, visiting winemakers, tasting on site and selecting white, red and rosé wines that reflect both their terroir and their commercial potential. This hands-on approach allows us to build long-term relationships with producers and ensure a consistent level of quality across our range.
In New York, our commercial team operates on the ground, meeting restaurants, bars, retail stores and liquor stores directly. We don’t just sell wines, we present them, explain their stories and introduce them through curated, premium tastings adapted to each client’s needs.
By controlling the selection process at origin and maintaining a strong local presence in the market, we are able to offer high-quality wines at competitive prices, helping our partners improve margins while offering their customers distinctive and compelling products.

Our team
New York is where our story began, and our New York team remains at the heart of our development. Built progressively and thoughtfully, this team reflects both the diversity of the city and the ambition of our company.
Today, our New York operations rely on a team of four sales representatives, supervised by a Sales Manager who recently joined us. With over 14 years of experience in the wine industry, he brings a rare dual perspective, having worked both as a sommelier and as a distributor. His role goes beyond management: he structures the team, shares his field expertise, and ensures that our portfolio and market approach remain aligned with the realities of the New York market.
From the beginning, we made a deliberate choice not to build a uniform team, but a complementary one. We believe that understanding the wine market requires multiple viewpoints, from the restaurant floor to retail shelves, from logistics to customer relationships.
Despite their different backgrounds, all members of the team share the same mindset: a strong work ethic, curiosity, and the determination to contribute to the long-term success of the company. This diversity is one of our greatest strengths. It allows us to speak the language of our clients, whether they are sommeliers, retailers, bar managers or distributors, and to build partnerships based on trust, relevance and long-term vision.
